My World – Day 6 – Figuring it out…
Today I am trying to figure out, & sign up, for a few affiliate programs that will be appropriate for my blog. I’d like to help people to find work at home; as well as help individuals save money & add some links for services that may help people, &, last but not least, I’ll probably talk about health & fitness as I am an active person who believes in these things. I am also sure that from time to time I’ll throw in something about cats as I love them…
This may turn out to be a tall order, but I will refine as I go along. I applied for a couple of these programs so now I must wait for approval. This is the “learn as I go” method. For me it seems to be the best way.
I will probably do a newsletter down the road, but right now I have so much to figure out & I don’t want to overwhelm myself. “Baby steps” I keep telling my impatient self…
There are so many affiliate programs, my head is spinning & I really don’t know which to choose, but as I do everything, I’ll figure it out. May be some cursing & screaming along the way, but I’ll get it…
Another thing I haven’t figured out yet is how to link my blog to Pinterest. I am taking a mini-course to help me use Pinterest effectively as I have not used it in the past.
I keep telling myself to take it one day at a time so I don’t get frustrated. Yesterday was a light bulb day & today isn’t, but I know everyday won’t be like yesterday. If only it could. Then I have to remind myself that it took me a week to have this first “light bulb moment”. I know there will be more to come. So far, I am searching but not much is happening. I wish I could blink my eyes (like Jeannie used to do – am I showing my age?) & have it all fall into place, but I know that isn’t happening any time soon.
