Welcome To My World – Day 1 – A Tribute to My Snowman

Well, looks like this is the first post in my new blog. I am dedicating my first day to my beautiful Gentle Giant, Snowman, who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning (11/18/16). He will be missed dearly, not only by me, but also by my other cats. They all loved him. They are so quiet now. They know someone is missing at home. They won’t be able to sleep with him anymore (he was a Great Pillow :)), or follow him around. One of them gave him massages.

I want to cry, but he was a pleasure to have for the 11 years that he lived with me & gave me the pleasure of his company. He was a special cat & held a special place in my heart & the heart of my other cats. We all miss him. He was the most even tempered gentle cat ever. He was big, but I doubt he’d hurt a fly. I am so sad today.

Just about to do my afternoon exercise & I stopped to think that Snowman will no longer lay down next to me when I do my floor exercises. He won’t rest his head on me ever again. Everything I do makes me think of something Snowman did. He won’t steal my seat on the couch ever again…

He came into my house with a broken jaw & ribs when he was about a year or so old. He was probably hit by a car. I nursed him back to health. I brought another cat into the house to keep him company, but they didn’t care for each other much. They tolerated each other, but weren’t friends. The other cat, Mickey, is still here, & purrs like he’s got a loud motor going inside him. Even he seems a bit somber now. My parents, who are both gone, can now take care of Snowman. One day, I’ll join him too.

For all of the animal lovers out there, I know you’ve been through similar situations. They hurt, but make us stronger.

Now I have my new endeavor to work on. I need to figure out blogging & become a pro. This won’t be a long post today as I only wanted have a tribute to Snowman with the one blue & one yellow eye.

REST IN PEACE, SNOWMAN. You will be missed! I LOVE YOU…

Last pic today. This is Harry Potter. He is the “massager”. It hurts my heart to see him wandering thru the house looking for Snowman. He’s been sticking to me like glue since the big guy crossed over. It is now 11/20 & he wants to be wherever I am. He is Mischievous & Loving & I know he will probably miss Snowman more than any other cat…
