Welcome to My World – Epsom Salts – Garden Uses

Hello World!   Today I’m sharing other uses for this great product. You can fertilize your lawn and garden with Epsom Salt!

Also, I’m following up on a previous post about Epsom Salt. I’ve been using it for a few weeks; I take Epsom salt baths 3 times per week (recommended times per week) and I believe it helps me with my back. Soaked in a tub with it last night and feel much better today. An added side benefit, & I don’t know why, is that it helps me sleep better. Anything that’ll do that is great in my book!

of yoyr plants every 2-4 weeks (note that these are acid loving plants so it’d probably work for bougainvillea as well. They flower more with an acid fertilizer.).

Trees: apply 2 tablespoons per 9 sq. ft. (3’x3′) over the root zone of your trees once every 4 months.

Garden Startup: sprinkle approx. one cup per 100 sq. ft. and mix into soil prior to your planting.

House Plants: Mix one teaspoon per gallon of water and feed your plants every 1-4 weeks.

You can also fertilize house plants with Epsom Salt.

*For faster results, water plants after applying this product.*

Just to reiterate my previous post, if you soak in a tub, pour 2 cups of Epsom Salts under warm running bath water; You should soak for at least 12 minutes and 20 minutes is even better. I usually make it to 15 minutes before I get out of the tub. You definitely relax this way 🙂 …

Using Epsom Salt as a Warm Compress

Dissolve one cup in one quart of warm water. Using a towel apply solution to your affected area for 15-30 minutes to reduce pain and swelling.

**If you’re pregnant or diabetic, consult your doctor prior to use.**

I am always amazed about what we can do with natural products. They have so many uses and they won’t harm us or the environment. I’m a fan! Do you use Epsom Salt? Let me know what you use it for.
