Welcome to My World – My Journey – More “Tech” Stuff!
Hello World! Time for me to update you on My Journey in the world of blogging. I began this journey in late November 2016 and probably spent the first month on tech issues, and now My “tech challenges” are coming to the forefront again as I try to figure out how to use Mail Chimp so I can create an email list (and not have an “opt in” button to no place 🙂 ), and begin a newsletter. I also doubt that my SEO is good and I don’t know how to make it better. It definitely needs to be fixed. And, lastly (for now), I haven’t done any Pinterest Group boards! It just doesn’t end… Arghhhhh… HELP!
Cursing like a sailor? That’s what I feel like doing when “tech” stuff raises it’s ugly little head! HELP!!!
Tech challenges
I will spend more time on learning to use Mail chimp this (week’s gone so I guess it’s next week) and next week. So far, all I’ve done is sign up and I “thought” if I placed a widget on my page that placed an “opt in” button on my blog for people to sign up, it would begin to create the list automatically, but guess what, it doesn’t work that way 🙁 . Now I have to figure out how it does work. I wish I could just write and leave the tech stuff to someone else (a partner maybe?), but that doesn’t seem to be happening as I work with me, myself and I! (and none of “us” are tech savvy 🙂 )…

and I haven’t had the time to look at Mail Chimp. Life has gotten in the way. It’s hard when you’re doing everything on your own, with absolutely no help. It doesn’t always work, but I do the best I can. I get Very frustrated sometimes (like now), but I enjoy writing so I will keep on truckin’. In the end, this is not making me any money yet so I really must devote more time to this to make money or I’m in deep doodoo. That’s enough of my own little “pitty party”.
If I could only Just write and leave all the “tech” stuff to someone else!
What’s Going On In My World…
When I get frustrated I opt for writing which comes easy to me and I enjoy doing it, but if I don’t monetize my blog soon, I’ll be broke & that’s not a good thing. I’ve tried to find affiliates related to what I write about, but that email list is important to me as well so people know what I’m doing & what I’m all about; and the SEO is also important since if hardly anyone sees what I write, it does me little good.

Is anyone out there Very Tech Savvy, but a lousy writer, that may like to partner with me? I’m just putting it out there; and who knows what might happen… 🙂 I also find it hard to put myself out there and share “me” with the world, and because of this I’ve been putting off posting this. It’s almost a week since I began this post and I keep posting other “stuff”. Well, today’s the day I will post this…
Healthy Living
My focus is “Healthy Living” through exercise and eating right, and I like

writing about this. I may need to tighten my focus, but I believe that will come as I grow in this endeavor. It’s the “tech” stuff that gives me big time grief… If any of you have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated as it might help me learn and grow. I’ve learned an awful lot to date, but it doesn’t end as I’m always growing and learning, but, unfortunately, money is running out, so I must find something part time that actually pays me, until this works… But then there’s the circular reasoning that tells me to put more time into figuring all this out and not side track to something else, even part time, but who knows which is the right decision? I know what I want to do, but what should I do?

I need to learn to talk to People about this, and it may make my life easier…
kind of post is one of the most difficult for me to write as I’m putting myself out there for the world to see, and be able to judge me, and I’m not good at that. I know one day I’ll look back at this post and laugh with the understanding of how far I’ve come. One thing I also know is how far I’ve already come, and for that I’ll give myself a pat on the back.
